Traditional Wooden Masks and Wall Hangings of Guerrero

Collectors of masks from every culture love them for the many aspects of ourselves that they reveal, rather than seeking to hide behind them. Here you'll find a little bit of everything, from pre columbian reproductions in ceramic to classic carved wood from Guerrero to ceremonial masks made for dancing in traditional fiestas and calendas, to play the part of  a devil, a Spaniard, an ancient wise one, a brave warrior or a protective jaguar. There are also large ornamental  shields or retablos traditionally made for ornamentation of churches.
